Decide which side of the fairway bunkers you are going on this medium length par four. The fairway is nearing 100 yards in width so there is little excuse for missing it but sometimes a safe shot to the right side will leave a very awkward second to a testing little green. Also, the better player needs to be aware that the fairway narrows dramatically when you get within pitching distance of the green.

Pro Advice

The choice to lay up or try and carry the bunkers will determine the length of your 2nd shot to a well guarded green. The safe play is up the right hand side of the faiway leaving a mid to short iron to the green.
