7th hole
Like many of the short holes at Cumberwell, this one plays downhill to a green set in the ancient Heyswood. Clubbing is always the issue here so check the yardage and go with the facts. Anything long can hit the bank at the back and disappear into oblivion. It can be a nice little birdie or a card wrecker.
Pro Advice
Seasoned Cumberwell campaigners will all tell you that assessing the wind on the tee is critical. The tee is protected by trees on both sides but so often it whistle's in from the right side and sends your ball into the trees on the left. Sometimes taking an extra club and playing a soft cut is the only shot.
