Hello my name is Patsy Lewis and I am Lady Captain for 2010 at Cumberwell Park Golf Club.
My Vice Captain is Pat Traves and between us we hope to continue the friendly and relaxed atmosphere, for which our Club is renowned.
We are very fortunate to have 36 holes, on a beautiful Course, overlooking the Wiltshire countryside.
Our Ladies Section is around 160 members strong of whom 30-40 play on our regular Monday Ladies Mornings.
We enjoy Medal and Stableford Rounds, and we also have Fun competitions; some of the most enjoyable involve our thriving Seniors Section, with whom we have several matches throughout the year.
We take part in Friendly Matches, which are very well supported, and much fun to play in.
There is no pressure, although we all enjoy winning, we have the chance to play neighbouring courses, and the added pleasure, afterwards of tea and a chat with old and new golfing friends.
From 2009 we have had two League Teams and a Scratch Team so our best players can play at a high level. We are looking forward to a good year. We look forward to seeing you when visiting and if you would like to become a member please ring the club
